COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

“Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it.”

– Marian Wright Edelman

Our Community Initiatives involve an array of events and platforms in which we can educate, inspire and empower for change.

Our mission is to take one community at a time, educate them on human trafficking, and give them the tools and resources to continue the movement.

In order to make this mission succeed our HTM Education division will work closely alongside our Community Initiative Team.

Here are some of our initiatives in which we partner which local cities, community centers, etc for 2017 -2018:

WHAT TO DO

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. - Nelson Mandela

One of the key elements of this movement is education and awareness. Over the past several years, we have partnered with various anti-human trafficking coalitions, government agencies, and victim services organization. We pride our efforts on being trained and educated from experts on this issue, that way we can educate the public.

Our vehicle of education is through theatrical productions, community rallies, seminars, culturally focused curriculum/brochures, and social media. Though our methods seem a little unorthodox we have seen people's eyes and awareness bolden on human trafficking as a result.

The more we educate and bring awareness to others, the closer we become in setting victims free and bring closure to this horrific crime.
